    Hi Leo,
Best way to find out about Tarneit is to have a drive out there.
Advantages are that it is reasonably close to the city, affordable land and developing infrastructure.
Check out some of the estates on the net and try to find some more info.
Let me know if you have any more specific questions i may be able to help.

    Thanks Hutch.

CD is close to the water, therefore CG will be quicker. Tarneit will take longer to make any growth, but eventually will, right?

I would prefer Carrum Downs for the “close to the bay” factor, however as I will be working in Port melbourne as of 2007 it would take so long to get there!!!![glum]

Thanks for that Hutch! Although I wont be travelling back to Tarneit in peak hour, will the travel time still be 60 minutes?
I will be travelling from Port Melbourne to Hawthorn (after work) to Hawthorn so I would guess that would be 30-40 minutes?

Will be heading down to Tarneit to have another look this weekend.

Can you recommend any of the new estates? We are currently looking at Tarneit Gardens.

    Thanks again!
    Justin
