I have a few good friends they are solicitor and accoutant, but in my many yr. buiness life, they often give me good advice but often wrong (ie not exactly meet the practical need). as you know, they are only dealing with their daily routine job just as you and me. they don’t know much other tricky things. They learned but sometime/always not skillful to apply in the real business world.
that is what i feel. but sometimes when we discussing in the forum, we may find something NEW AND CREATIVE.

    Hi Terry,
i don’t know your business, Your meaning is that if i borrow the money for investment purpose (say, buying share, IP, antique..), that kind of loan is no a interest rate ceiling limit, it is just subject to mutual loan aggreement, Is it right? [specool]
but how can you know i use the money for investment?[inlove]

I think, I earned enough (not much) for my rest of life! you know, life is too short for me.(Above all, just a joke!)[inlove][inlove]

    Hi Terry,

These loans are securred by a caveat on the client’s properties. It is very risky, so the charges are high – 6 to 10% per month in interest.

Is it mean the APR is higher than 50% pa, Does it any ceiling rate restrict by law ?

You will need to find customers – ie approach mortgage borkers and/or put ads in the paper. And you will need a solicitor who can draw up relevant documents.

I read an artical on the subject of selling the company business as a going concern , thus the buyer gets the investment house , and avoids the payments involved in buying the house..

I think I answered this one somewhere else too.

I checked with one of my trust deeds. My wife is Appointor, I am backup appointor and our kids can be appointers in the event that we both die. I am not sure what would happen after that.

    Hi terry,
What i’m really concern is that if i’m the single appointor and trustee, there are four beneficiaries, of course i’m of the beneficiary, but if i’ve gone first, what will happen? do the remaining beneficiaries have the equal right to elect a new appointor? or the corporated appointor is better?
    What do you think?

    Regards

Sure, once appointed, that trustee is the one who’s managing it, like the CEO of the trust so to speak, but what if the appointor, who if it’s not u sack u (who’s the trustee) and apppoints someone else in ur place? wouldn’t that be dangerous since as appointor, it is the appointor’s prerogative(is that the correct spelling?) to do so.

There’s no Such thing as No Can’t Do!!!!!

If the appointor is gone before the trusee (ie a individula trustee) , who will take the new post of appointor ?

    Good Morning,
    Terry,
Usaully, in the Indiviual truest, the trustee and the appointor is the same person, but the beneficiary may be more than one person, if someday the appointor is gone before others, who has the right to appoint the appointor?

    All input are welcome.[inlove]

You can also distribute approx $650 each year to minors without them paying tax. It helps if you have lots of kids!
