“Oh, a cult has moved to Hamilton- the Happy Clappers- hehe- too funny :O)

Yeah my mother gets quiet a laugh out of them.

Hamilton went really quiet and dropped off for about ten years in the 90’s everyone I knew and all oul group of friends left, there was just nothing happening.

And now it’s picked up again, the Mcdonald’s got the best store in Australia recently I think it was or Victoria or something.

So if Portland has had declines then mabyee that’s the time to get in there.

I know just recently 90 families have moved to the hamilton area, they are a religious group. Don’t watch any telly or radio or anything and have bought up big in area. They have bought big places like Doctors houses solicitors houses and some of the more prodominant dwellings around Hamilton.

They have been dubbed “The Happpy Clappers” my mother had them come to her door. They have nothing to do with the Mine but just saying that that’s another 90 families that have moved into the Hamilton area and bought houses, they are evan constucting there own kit biult houses on a plant out the road, which they have completely constructed the plant and set up themselves, to supply there own group with houses. They bought an ex council depo or something simular with existing big industrial sheds.

As far as all the pulp, is that from all the Blue Gum trees Western? I know there has been billions planted, and they would be getting on to maturity now, i heard along the grape vine that a lot of the Blue Gum pulp is to be exported to China or Japan, so that would create more traffic at the port. Portland is one of the deepest ports in the world.

This thread was about Muldura, and I haven’t said anything about it hehe. Maybee i will drift thru there in my HouseBoat one day. But the only thing i know about Mildura is they grow lovely oranges and it is bloody hot.

I’d add to the list Jaffa…but how? go searching?

Exactly. Though I find it difficult to used the PI search function.

The main idea was to get many people contributing. When I went about reading the forum, i came accross a lot of really good well discussed threads. That seemed a shame that they would go submurged to the bottom of the ocean and rarely if not seem again.

I wish i had of bookmarked them at the time, so the idea is to hopefully get anyone else who is slowly browsing thru the past threads; to put the links in here if you find any good or interesting one.

I haven’t been able to do alot lately because I’m all over the place , I been travelling and moving house and everything. Did I say house [That’s Not A House…It’s a HouseBoat! [biggrin]].

The idea was that the threads would relate to Positive Cashflow and in the PI.com forums, but you got me stumped there Aceyducey because the list of words meanings relates to both with that list! But I would have to change the thread title. Mmmmm “I dunno” , i will think of something. In the meantime we’ve found a list so that’s good! I finally know what IMHO means and a few others.

[edited] Ok I just thought of something,

Aceyducey would you like to start a Best of Summersoft over there at Somersoft.com and I will link a best of somersoft thread in this one. Other wise if we start mixing PI.com and SS.com it will get long and mixed and all over the place. And also may get better value to have a best of SS.com at SS then the members frequenting there will add to a list of links, and well benefit more from it!

Either that or I will divide this thread into two; PI.com and SS.com but I think it will get to long and end up in a mess. What do you think?

I can’t coment on the city nor the country really with ‘serviced appartments’ I know of one guy who is about to biuld two of them out the back of his house, because he has a great view of a peaceful gum tree valley and creek area.

He expects to pay $70,000 for both apartments ( he has a lot of contacts and is getting things done cheaply) and put them on Strat title and says he will rent them at $400 a week. Which I have doubts about, but am going to keep in contact with him as he biulds them and see how he goes with them.

This is in a country town and a place where I have never seen ‘Serviced Appartments’ there before. So he’s having a go at doing something new for the area of about 12,000 population.

I imagine they would do well in tauresty places.

Positive cashflow property is probably the easier of the two to grasp, and really not a hell of a lot needed to be learnt to get started.

But can add to amount you learn as you go. And when you get more experience can maybee branch out into -cashflow as well. But I think negative cashflow is a little bit more risky then positive cashflow, where you can rely more on science, rather then taking a gamble sometimes with negative gearing.

    Congratulation on getting a LapTop,

I suggest you send it over to me to get it sorted out for a couple of weeks [blink], I mean months :).

What I normaly do is download http://www.grisoft.com FREE antivirus software and set it to run auto every day. But since you got Norton that’s probably alright ( lot of people using that).

I download Yahoo Instant Messenger and instal it, it has many features that you can use and are handy. For instance it gives stock market alerts(rings a bell if your shares go up or down). Have it send your weather erport every day to your email box, chat, radio stations (make your own private one!). It also; once you actauly sign up for messenger, which it totally free [but there is pay services you can use] gives you a yahoo ID so that you can use yahoo email, so then you just use yahoo web based email instead of outlook and can check your email anywhere, net cafe’s, someone elses home etc! And Yahoo Messenger is programed magnificantly.

I instal a auto passord remembering software free at http://www.gator.com/home2.html , this loggs you into sites, if you have lot’s that you log into and over a few years you tend to forget what passords you used. This remembers them.

You can go into your browser on your other PC and import your old bookmarks and put the file on a floppy disk and then take it over to your Laptop and import the file into your favorites, then misteriously your favourites will all be in your LapTop.

And don’t forget to download the LapPack Calculator http://www.Jaffasoft.com/property/LapPack.zip

    Good luck with it…

I know it’s interesting and fun, but you can’t trust people in the internet age. Sorry to spoil the fun.

I’m suppa consious of leaving any personal information on the internet esp knowing how easy it is to get into your bank account!

B.T.W They got my hacker (but she’s on the run) who was it? It wasn’t the buttler!! But my ex girlfriend.

Yes Kay, it’s interesting that they do that. You would think that would swallow up there profits.

I thought they must of had half the articals or something, i noticed there is no SIS photo, or is there??

Anyway it will be worth keeping in mind if i get a more permanent Internet connection. “Just using cafe’s ATM”.

Sheeeeee we won’t tell anyone that thousands have read it accross Australia maybee a million [biggrin].

SIS you forgot to tell them you live in the back yard in a tent.

Yeah, good link, now i don’t have to pay for the magazine at all. Which i don’t think i will buy again! It’s just that this months they had 1700 Mortgages that they sussed out and awarded the best, that’s the convinving thing for me that made me pick it up off the shelve!

Thanks for your advice guys, there’s some interesting discussions.

Whoever biult the road thru there did not a very good job, it’s got elbow turns all the way along it. Poor truckies! But that explains why there’s so many truckies going thru there, from Melb or Syd. A new highway to get truckies from one side of town to the other would be an improvement. Also a few thousand gigaliters of water in lake hume would be good [biggrin], she’s a bit dry!!

Apparently the area gets a bit tauresty. I did see that Uni, i didn’t take much notice if it was active (actauly i think it was after 10pm that i seen it). So wouldn’t have been much action then!

I heard Beachworth way was where people are heading out to expand and developing. Agent smith or anyone interested, drop your email in, and i will get in contact and see if something can be arranged. A meeting or something, or evan a drive around the area and a chat would be good, sometime!

Deafenantly far from a caravan park. It’s more like half a small block street with small unit type dwellings with fences around each of them.

Sorry mod! I didn’t know questions about the wraps should be in the ‘Getting Creative’ forum [blush2].

Anyway , about the question. I’m not questioning weather the wrap kit is succesful. But more about hearing from people who have used it and or are actively using the system or have learnt the kit and are ready to use it?
