    Hi David, I think what Steve accomplished was that he purchased those propertys under market value, had them valued at proper market price and used the equity from that revaluation. I think. [:o)]

    Hi Elysium M, I appreciate your time. To answer your question I do have 3 service business’s that does expose me to possible liability’s. If I were to sell IP’s I would have 400k in equity. Cheers John Gee[:o)]

    Thanks Simon, just as I thought. So once you refinance you then have a new loan at a greater amount which will alter your return for that first property as well the refinanced loan would be at todays rate, right?     Hi Smithy, I reckon as a general rule to property investing I would stick close to the major capitals ie. Hobart, Launcestan, within 10km
