We bought the house about a year and a half ago. I have reno'd the house and was going to fix the shed. already have all the materials to re roof it. The walls had cracks but were straight and the trusses in the ceiling are in good condition. I was very suprised it collapsed. Now its definately a demolition job. Sorry I am in rural SAThe $990 seems ok.Just wasn't sure about the other fees if they actually cost this much normally. like $770 bank production fees, and the application fee.Not much risk for this job for the conveyancer. No money changing hands for my properties and about 25k to the neighbour

Thanks for the reply. looks like the only thing i may need to worry about is the neighbour having to pay CGT on the land he sells me. I will look into it further. But if he is liable for CGT i think we will be able to work around it anyway.

Just a little bit of advice you may not need.Once your baby is born you will have a dependent which will cut the amount you can borrow quite a bit.You should probably get your house and mortgage sorted before he/she is born

No idea the condition of your IP but moving in while you have no job could be a good idea to give the place a bit of a touch up with all your spare time.
