I learnt my lesson last month. Never use a conveyancer, always use a solicitor. <moderator: delete language> a solicitor can do something about it. My conveyancer just waved a white flag.

I wonder which period of time a house in Kew and Camberwell was only between $150 – $200k ? My guess mid 80’s?

Not in Chile but did consider purchasing a unit in Malta. I’m also Maltese so the country isn’t foreign to me but the returns didn’t justify the purchase.

People don’t understand the concept “wait till the morning”. I listed some free kittens on a website I had people calling me at 2am asking what colour it is!

I wish you all the best with the new business. Don't let $150k discourage you. Better to take a risk and fail then grow old and wonder what if.

Richard I have a feeling this guy will be calling you again in a few months to help him untangle the new mess he got himself into. 0.1% isn’t that enticing!

    Hi Terry,

The work was completed but after It’s completed don’t you dare call him for advice. And during the whole process he is too busy to return your calls. And then he thought it was ok to settle on a property with the vendors rubbish and furniture still inside.
Best of all he has written book after book on property law.

Probably one that’s willing to help you after you pay them. Mine didn’t want a bar of me once he got what he wanted.
