“KNOW the difference between education and advice”

Some of these books and seminars overstep the line..

Gordon made $800k on his first property deal. It was better than sex.

At that time he thought it was all the money in the world, but now he makes that in a day.

    Hi Diamond.

I saw my portfolio fall 50% before I recovered and then made the 300%. It was a rocky road!
The stocks that made me significant profits were OXROA, UNI, SIE, LOK. At one stage I was on a role and in fact was up 500%, but lost it when I got a little cocky.

I recently traded TNE (should have held on). I trade 90% on TA and 10% on funnymetals.

I truely believe we will see a surge of GOLD and Silver stocks in the next 5 or so years…

Apologies for hijacking this PI forum with stock talk :oP Diamond if you want visit http://www.ozestock.com.au I sometimes put my 2c in there.

    My success stories:

    1) I made 300% in the stock market last FY.

    2) I bought my first IP 6 months ago

    3) I have not been sucked in to any of these “wealth creation” seminars.

    4) I am 24 and still learning!

are you sure? I’ve been told it is tax deductable, however you will need to keep a log book.

The expense incurred is with the aim of generating income i.e. rent. Hence it is claimable as a deduction?

    Amit,

Do you mind me asking which 3 day course are you going to?

    Matt,

I’m in the same boat as you. ALthough not as “old”, not earning as much, and not having as much equity.

I am looking for a coach but am overly cautious of swindlers!! You can’t trust no one these days.

Before you dive into any clubs etc… I encourage you to read “Don’t Sign Anything” by Neil Jenman and have a read of this site: http://www.papersourceonline.com/swindles.htm

    Good luck finding your mentor.
