good evening all!
In my industry, Arboriculture, we come across bees all the time. Instructing a group of students 2 weeks ago we felled a tree dislodging a huge hive of Native Bees which are harmless and the honey (tons of it) is incredible, think Manuka x 10!
I have ALWAYS used a proffesional, bees can and will swarm when disturbed and can kill a human and will return if the job is not done properly. A lot of people are allergic to bee stings (just dont know it till they get stung) so be warry of this. Any good pest removal Co. will be able to do this for a reasonable price. Always ask if they’re insured, liscenced and experienced, never take ‘yes’ for an answer, get them to prove it (as should apply for any service or trade)…
We use cherry pickers if the hive is up high and a strong (industrial strength) spray or pyrethrum powder and follow up 1-2 days to a week later sometimes having to do a third spray. I have been attacked by european wasps in a tree and it is not cartoon humor, (especially as there was no pool!!) I am alergic to bee’s so dont get me started there!

if your talking about 4K on prettying up your driveway or repairing it please take it from the horeses mouth, it aint worth that much!
I have worked along side the building industry on and off for 20+ years and one of the biggest scams going ATM is beautification of driveways!
I know for a fact it costs around 10% of your quoted price to beautify your driveway, that means someone is pocketing the other $3600!! And it wont be the aplicator!!

What has been said in the post I tend to agree with, these people are simply saying, “you need to go find your own niche, your own way, and your speciality”…
There are a lot of people who think it’s a get rich quick, easy money deal, some who think, like the rest of society encourages, they will be spoon fed by the site and the people within this site…
You must be unique, think outside the square and push yourself, also your intentions must be honorable and true, what you sow so shall you reap…
Set goals, have a vision, dream dreams… Dream dreams, have a vision, set goals…
Did you check the link in the above post, if so what were your thoughts? That post was more Vic specific…
There have been some bush fires in Vic; this means some great deals around those areas!!
Could you let me know if you have read my other posts before I send you out this info, read them and give comment via post on the site then let me know. I have the fastest possible connection and could only stream it and had my lap top drop the wireless connection also half way through so back to the start thus spending around 5 hours also, plenty of note taking and very greatful for the video, no idea how to speed things up though???
House mate just back from NZ, his brother has started his own morgage brokerage company so, we are looking at the N.Z. market with zest HOWEVER the cost of living seems astranomical!
Be great to get something going about all us guys getting into the new kick start program, have just listened to the audio, great little track, downloaded all the templates and emailing them off shortly with real goals soon to be doing and done!!
Heading off to hang at an Auction for a buzz and hope for a pass in and checking an unlisted property tommorrow through a client who has given up on renovating a prime, PRIME, Brisbane piece and wants to hand ball it!! Will be wrapping or flipping or even bird dogging this so keep an eye out…

I was a Fitter before I steped into Arboriculture and have some great contacts over west and was keeping an eye on the market after I had visited, I had been considering jumping into a mine though I prefer the out doors…Maybe I could consider a FIFO for a while and sus it all out???
I’ve just written a piece which I am offering to email to newbies on finding ++CF-IP’s though didnt include suggesting canvasing the movements of mining corps, I also keep an eye on what big corps are doing as i see so do others on this site so as to be aware of where people might move and where money is being injected…
Thanks for your post reply, wil keep an eye on this thread as i consider myself by nature to be a West Aussie and would love to have a solid reason to frequent that beautiful “little” state…
I was there for a month 2 year ago as part of a business scoping trip to assess the viability of establishing a RTO in the Arb industry and for a very large Powerline Vegetation Mngmnt Co. and for my own Company looking at the expansion of the Arb industry due to the relinquishing of Vegetation Managment by Western Power AND looking at the future deregulation and therefore privitisation of the powerline industry in W.A.. To much head hunting and scape goating going on for it to be viable in my eyes so backed away THOUGH I am sure this and activity like this could have an affect on some housing areas…Hhhmmmm, even if one were to aproach the big Arb co’s offering to house their guys in areas remote? Just thinking out loud…

I am in agreeance with lattam, having sussed them out last year (and having attended lectures at Melbourne Uni on the “Aging population”) I doubt they will hold up to the light considering the phasing out of subsidies, those cheery agents will always forcast optimism on a posible sale…Future vacancies when they do come wont be filled like any other rental vacancy, better to buy some cheap land just off a small city or big town and build your own village for retirees (or even a hospital) check out Toowoomba theyre going to need retirement villages…
Better to be wrapped in a wet blanket than a sinking ship…

Specifically Aussiecam, leewizza and all the other frustrated newbies I read about daily in the forums!
(Adam, Dazzler, you are more than worthy of praise!)
Relative to most I am a Newbie only having “owned” one (vendor financed) property approx 5 yrs ago (own non atm) however I have been assisting family and friends in buying and building/renovating for over 2 decades never having had enough faith in myself or materialistic drive to acquire massive amounts of “property”…
I have been writing a response to the newbie anguish I see daily. As Adam knows this “writing” is possibly too long to post, currently running at 2500 words and about 5 pages!
It is about how i have found and go about finding ++CF property based on communicating with all and sundry about what I need and therefore want and in turn building relationships with the un-suspecting and sometimes unusual…(Moving to Brisbane last year I found dozens of +CF-IP’s in a very short period of time).
It is an add-on to what Adam and Daz have written here already.
If anyone would like a copy of this please let me know, I am sure it would help, it is written in very basic, common sense english as I am no genius and NOT A MATHEMATICIAN!
It may end up as an article in the “Free stuff” at the bottom of the “Online Shop” drop down menu if I take Adams advice and ACTUALLY email it to admin!
Please feel free to email me, perhaps if you put “CF+ brief history” in the subject line and I can mail it out to you…

just read your post and am a little concerned at the offer of some to “find out about that property for you”
PLEASE BE WARRY OF THESE OFFERS AS BUSINESS IS BUSINESS!!
I would never tell someone even as a bird dog, flip or buyers agent for a client UNLESS i was aware that they would run with it and had a contract witht hem and at least $2K for my finding the property!
If you tell someone the address you are pretty much giving it away…
Hope this doesnt sound doom and gloom but my mentors wont even LET me tell them about the properties I find so as to teach me NOT to do it! LOL
