i am also intersted in this area. my father is currently investing in the pamona, kin kin, coran area which are all not too far away. i think mainly because you get a lot more house for your money there, but they are further away from the hive. some things you might find interesting, the noosa shire area has rules introduced a few years ago where nobody can subdivide their acrage unless they own over i think its 10hectares. and they cant subdivide into small plots. (i dont know everything about it but i know they dont want anymore development in the area.) therefore the property around noosa shire should only get more expensive.

coolum is getting busier and busier as people dont want to deal with crouds at noosa as much. also alot of the cain field wich you may have seen while you were in the area will probably be getting something else on them soon as we now import it all from the philipines as of about december last year.
im not sure if they have rules on the cain fields
