Where is the profit that this so called ‘man of god’ has made out of these poor people and can’t he be made to pay it all back?

Wayne, I happened to work for a few weeks in a new estate that was developed by Devine homes, these were smallish houses backing onto a train line aimed at first home buyers. I met a couple on the day of handover and where told they were offered 270k by a RE agent for the home they paid 200K for. They wern’t selling as they had tenants lined up paying 270 a week rent. I dont know if this is an isolated case or these deals happen regularly. This was about 4 months ago in an average location in Brisbane.
Cheers
HaggetThis might be a little extreme but I sold a car and bought a pile of junk just to minimise any outgoings(repayments) at the time. I was also lucky to land a job in the outback that limited my ability to spend anything at all! A bit extreme but it worked. I still empty all gold coins into a savings jug everyday to keep up the savings habit. Good luck e.

Thanks for the advice guys!
My short term strategy is to take in as much information as possible, handy tips, financial advice, what property types etc. as well as actually making the purchase. Long term I plan to buy, renovate and sell every 12 to 18 months, whist building on my knowledge and skill. I have learnt from neighbours how buying, renovating and selling has greatly improved thier financial position.
Meanwhile I’ll keep scanning these pages for lots of handy hints and hope to eventually trade advice along the way!Cheers
