Thanks for all the thought and replies, much appreciated.

Also what I actually meant by full-time was not doing the building ourselves, but buying & developing and selling and renting full-time. Property investing full-time.

Currently we are leaning towards selling the IP, and using that money, and some equity to guy some land and build a duplex/triplex. From there who knows, it will depend on the individual figures.

Is there anyone out there we could crunch numbers with via PMing when we find specific land etc?

    Cheers

    Freedomfighter,

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated, we believe that where we live (Sunshine Coast, SE QLD) there is still some money to make, however, you make a good point in re-financing to ‘go again’. Do you do this full-time? Also, a dumb question…what do you mean by ‘PM’ you?

    Hi there,

My partner and I sound very similar to you, we both just turned 24, and want to get into property development (relatively small scale). We own a house and have just loaned to buy another, which we will probably sell in a year or so. We live in QLD, South East.

Perhaps we could help each other out? Or share any info we find as we are not vying of land lol

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, I want to ad that I am 24 years old and wish to retire yesterday :-) So nothing is going to shock me, I realise that to do what i want to do, i have to take a big plunge.

Question – how on earth do you service 10 loans for 10 years, please clarify how these 10 properties are serviced to make the banks happy, we do not earn much at all. Sorry I am a little slow on the uptake on this.

    Many thanks
    Denyell
