the other reason many didn’t know about it was because the media didn’t portray it as big as it does this time around…

it depends if you purchased it under your own name or not.
if under a company – then you will pay 25% of the CG in tax.
if under an individual, then the profit is added to your income and then you are taxed but you can minus the expenses.
i suggest you post this question in the forum of accounting or better still, just call up your accountant and ask him/her – they can figure it out and tell you directly how much it will be.

youve come to the right place. many investors here have invested in NZ. In fact, Im trying currentty to do it myself. Best advice can come from Westan who’s in the South. I think Brent is also highly experienced up there and Mini I also think in the North.
Either way, do a search for this and you’ll get many posts.

Nathan are you crazy – why are sitting around telling us about it – go and get it before it goes throgh your hands. Its a 16% return – don’t think you can find that anywhere anymore.
I don’t know how you came across it but its a sure good deal. Great return – go for it.

to my knowledge there isn’t and there will nver be. There is however a company in NZ that find properties for a huge fee (you can call them spotters if you wish).
If you are a spotter or are looking for one – just mention it on this forum – your bound to get a few replies but mention the area you wish your spotter to get you properties from.

Steve – any thoughts…

Hi again,
I just read that he has produced would you belive a manual called the ‘WRAP PACK’ – How is this different from the ‘WRAP KIT’ that Steve has produced. Ha anyone got his kit or the pack. Who is copying who. I’d like to get the original – any thoughts. He does seem successful though – buying and selling over 300 properties but then agin he’s alot older than Steve.
Any thoughts…

Hi Nathan,
very good investment and clever idea to rent out the garage as a unit but you must get Council approval – if you don’t, it will eventually backfire on you. If something happens to the person renting your garage, they can sue you for negligence and/or for not getting it approved.
It doesn’t seem like a good return but you got the other better half – that is the capital growth. On the construction side – if you have a building inspection already done, then a get a few quotes from different builders.

good reply yack – anyone else seen it, please provide your valuabe feedback on what you though as I unfortunately missed it. Thanks.

hhhmmm…sorry guys but I tend to disagree with some. I think its quite easy to be honest.
Kay – you mentioned that $10 a week positive cashflow – hhmmm. Is the market really getting that hard now. I’ve found a few properties returning $50 and above in positive cashflow.
I don’t think you’ll need 100 properties to get $50k+ in Net cashflow. Steve has 130 properties and is making around $350k in positive cashflow.
The way to do it is thus:
As long as you have a deposit for your desired property, the bank will finance the rest. Look for cheap properties in the country where the deposit you’ll need will only be a few thousand dollars – increasing your ability to get more properties. To get deposits for 20 properties in the next 5 years is very easily achievable. If you get 20 properties in the next 5 years each returning $50 a week – BINGO – you’re now making $50k in positive cashflow at your 30th Birthday. – Also don’t forget that as the years come along, you’ll slowly be paying off your loan and thus increasing your positive cashflow return. All the best with your endeavours. remember to AIM HIGH!!!
