I don’t know of an Australian bank that will lend for NZ. A lender will not just lend above 80% to anyone – it depends on certain factors, namely, the location and the valuation. From my understanding – there is no Stamp Duty and no Capital Gains Tax for NZ but that all changes with the structure you have.

For example, if you purchase a NZ investment and bring the Capital gains into Aus, you will pay tax on them.
