    You are right , a lot of forumites are reluctant to voice their opinions because it seems that they have to break into & ip type club before they can benefit from the forum. The forum was set up to help all investors.The more posts the the further into the inner circle you sit.

    I have just come into a property down in Victoria
    that i was to use as my backup to start an investment program. The property is on beach Road Parkdale, 2br unit, app>$500k .Have spoken
    to a couple of local agents,(I am on Gold Coast),& they say rental @ $350.00 pw.I thought that this would be my start up for ip’s.

    I am a bit confused ,i thought that the rental income would be of a primary consideration by the lender as to wether they approve or decline the loan.Isn’t that the basic of aquiring ip’s

    I went to a free 2 hour seminar in Brisbane last thursday & enjoyed it. It was different to others i have attended in that he did’nt have a question time. Unlike seminars by Margaret lomas or Peter Flanagan.But it is all education & gives u more confidence to apply there criteria
    to your personal goals.

    G”day Andrew,
    I haven”t got the details with me Re Peter Flanagan”s seminars.They were advertised in yesterdays sunday mail.I think there was one @ 2pm
    & one @ 7pm. next thursday 11/09 @ the Sheraton.

    Rick Otton & Peter Flanagan have both got seminars on in Brisbane next thurs. 11/09/03
    Rick is $49 ea or 3 for $39 peters is free

    that sounds a bit like the white shoe brigade we have on the gold coast,valuers colluding with with the seminar holders, bankers & solicitors
    and duping the fly in tourists.
