I would choose replacement over restoration if I have the money to do so. But if the budget is tight, nothing is wrong with restoration.

Doing the painting alone could be really exhausting and time consuming. Suggest you can go to a painter and have it done by them, if you have the right amount of budget.

Isn’t roof renovation like replacement a part of the renovation they are working on your property? If you are able to trust them on the renovation why not on the roofing works. Otherwise you should not have let them work over your property in the first place. Hope it turned out well tho.

Not all inspectors overstate stuff, but cannot deny the fact that there are a lot that does. You can sell it, but do some repairs or replacement first to increase the value.

I know this is outdated, but for those who are really confuse, there is no more reliable than consulting a roofer themselves. Whether it be a residential or a company. Just a piece of information, if the roof is significantly old with damages, like it is past the supposed age better replace it.

I find carpet cleaning services now a days cheaper than before, correct me if I’m wrong. Because of competition, companies lower their service fee, just do not know if during the pandemic there’s changes. Cheers!

Isn’t 14k just way too expensive? But if we are unsure, we can actually let roofing contractors to inspect and evaluate the cost themselves.
