You are thinking too fast. Take baby steps. Renovating and then selling is not the best way to invest money, exciting maybe but not the best. You need to talk to a solicitor. You can change the name on the contract but it can be expensive.

Go to your local library, thats how I got started and whatever you do don’t read Steve Mcknights books. Some of the authors of other books (especially wakefield and Lomas) that I have read and the two financial advisers I have gone to think he is extremist. I also recommend you read all the old posts there is a wealth of knowledge mixed in with the crap.

I read somewhere that apartments are overvalued at the moment. Apartments are generally supposed to be 75-80% of house prices. This is not the case at the moment
