    I just thought I would pitch in and say WOW……that was an excellent post….especially as a uni student It gives me the drive to go out there and make a killing [biggrin] anyway just wanted to say thanks peter and good luck

    Hey Peter I hope you dont mind but i was just wondering if I could ask you a non property related question (PLEASE [biggrin])

    I was just getting confused over how cost are calculted when you write cover calls. My understanding is you pay a brokerage fee to buy the shares and then you pay another 1% to write the options- Know is that 1% based on the total value of your shares or is it based on the number of contracts or what? The reason I ask is because the majority of the brokers Ive looked at (including yours) charge around this area and considering you only make like 2% on your money that kinda bites into your profitability.

    As well Ive read that if you get excersied you have to pay a further brokerage fee?

    Thanks mate for the response, see I agree completely in the LONG run you cannot lose but its in the next 5 years is where im concerned one wrong move and… but thanks alot for your response Ill take it underadvisment.

    On a lighter note i recently raised your strategy of leap frogging with my grandparents and they laughed and told me they use the same strategy (albeit with using there equity in there own property instead of renovation/equity formula)over 30 years and aquired about 20 houses.

    Hey Peter

    The books good I picked it up at borders (where I had to ask for it specifically because it was in storage) yesterday.

    I was just wondering I know in the book you say that the best time to buy was yesterday but in the current climate with little potential for capital growth is it worth getting involved ?

    The reason I ask is that ive read some reports out of BS schrappnel and HSBC saying that there wont be any growth for upwards of 5 years just so that the “afforadbilty” crises can be met.

    More importantly though i want to just say thank you, for being one of the few true financial advisors on wealth creation for average Joe -I know u hate the term guru so –

    Mmmmm thats what i thought the concept sounds fine BUT (i always love the buts) with a weak rental market in capital cities the renovation may not result in a higher yield. Secondly the whole process is designed so as to acquire property and then just sit and wait for capital gains BUT with capital gains no longer there (in the major metropolises) for at least a good few years whats the point?

    Hey all Ive been reading about spann, most recently in his new book, i was just wondering if any of you good ppl have experience with this concept of leapfrogging (where you buy a house renovate it, get it revalued and use the equity to buy another house and do it all over again)?

    As well when you withdraw equity from your IP doesnt your loan repayments increase because your boring more ?

    Intresting update

    UPDATE – July 22. Yesterday, I personally met and challenged Robert G Allen to accept to my ‘real millionaire’ challenge. He declined. Obviously, he prefers to use his own fake challenges and misleading claims.

    MMMMm i wonder if this will have an effect on the audience numbers ?

    Im actually a uni student whos spend these holidays reading everything available on wealth creation and the most damn annoying thing is that ive missed the largest property boom were going to see in a LONG time. [wha]
