okay well then if less laterally the answer must be 99…
the answer to the next one is:
an egg (from memory i think that’s right)
okay another riddle:
Ridlle no 8.
A police man was walking home when he heard a voice scream from a house “No John, No!” followed by a single gun shot. He ran to the house and saw a lawyer, a doctor and a priest standing over a body. He immediately arrested the priest for murder. Why?
there’s always scope to turn properties cf+! Are you looking to invest for capital growth or returns?
With regard to the state of the real estate market in gladstone, whilst it has seen a large rise over the past 3 years in particular, it’s strong economic drives (conducted on the world’s largest Alumina Plant, the completion of Queensland’s major Power Station, and the construction of an Aluminium Smelter and Clinker Plant in the area) have not sent prices backwards as they have in other ‘regional’ areas.
Whilst I don’t believe IMO there is going be any great growth in the next few years I think Gladstone is a city with a strong future.
okay the answer would be 15… he leaves 7 (a weeks worth) and takes 7 (the dirty laundry) plus she’d be wearing a pair… i think that’s right [thumbsup2]
here’s another:
Riddle no. 4
A man walks into a bar and requests a glass of water, on hearing him the bartender pulls out a gun and aims it at him. The man says ‘thank you’ and walks out. Why?
reminds me of those song lyrics…
“remember you can wear your underwear four times without washing it, forwards, backwards, inside out forwards, inside out backwards”[biggrin]
just read the riddle, still thinking…
you could try the census material located on the australian beaurea of statistic site :(www.abs.gov.au)
older information is often free however you may need to pay for more recent statistics.
other forumites will also ave some good sites but i think this is a good starting point.
as a side note, I have long been a critic of Mr Jenman and recently took the time to write to him debating and refuting some of the claims he made in a recent published article on his website.
To my suprise not only did i receive a detailed email back within 24 hours, it also addressed my questions without trying to side step the issue.
For what it’s worth, although i don’t necissarily agree with his policies I have a new found respect for Mr Jenman…
