Richard: yeah i agree with you that lower interest rate and fees do not guarantee we will get the best loan.

But by listing the Pro homeloan package it will give the Forum readers some idea on the available PRO products in the market.

If you are able to find 25 pro product … mind to share?

    Thanks…

    Hi All,

I think Suncorp also giving a good Pro package (My Home Package) where for people borrowing $150K-$250K get 0.50% OFF the variable rate.
It fee is $300 per annum. With offset fee of $75.

    Any thought about this package?

    Hi All…

Thanks for the replies and suggestion guys …

Seems like Macquarie Bank has a lower interest rate at 6.74 if i want to borrow $220K.

Probably i’ll have a think on St George or ANZ as well if they cost less than Macquarie

SLE: i am not able to find the information for ANZ Homeloan Pro package on their website, are you able to copy the link of the website if there is one please?

    Thanks

    Willie

    Hi All…
Another price rise for some of the builders this Thursday on 1 Sept 2005. Such as Celebration, Metrostyle and New Generation.
The price raise will be about $5000-$8000

I just signed up with New Generation as some people said they can build within 6-12months. Hopefully they can do the same on my lot.

went to a spec home I am doing for a site visit today. geees the building industry is hopeless at the moment… kitchen cupboards are all the completely wrong colour, so they will need to be scrapped and replaced. same as my friend who had the wrong roof tiles put on – poor roofers had to pull them all off and replace them again. Every time they dropped one it went through the ceiling and it had to be repaired. Still I did make the guys rip the entire ceiling out of my 2 storey house, filled about 2 skips with gyproc. then there is the guy who had the slab poured in slightly the wrong location, so they got an angle grinder and cut a bit off one side and added some concrete to the other side. when they cut through on the one side the slab was a grand total of 40mm thick. Ya gotta love building!

John, Are you and your friend using Celebration as the builder?

I heard that Dale Alcock’s house price is a bit more than my budget which is around $130K

Probably i will ask a quote from Celebration before deciding which one to go with….

Please put more info if anyone has any suggestion/comments.

    Thank you.

    Thanks PK for the response.

I have search around and asking my friends.
The most common Builders that they have mentioned are:
    – New Generation
    – Metro Style
    – WA Housing Centre
    – Celebrations
    – Content Living

Any comments on those builders? Bad/Good experience?

    Thanks

How about Success?… According to the plan there will be a Train station, Gateways Shopping Centre development (According to Cockburn Council website it will be as big as Whitford City shooping centre) and Cockburn Central will be infront of the Gateways shopping centre.
Australand is releasing more blocks on their The Edge estate slowly.
