I know this is an old topic but could not find anything similar here so why not bring it back for people who are interested in this nowadays?
Let’s share our experiences in this thread. I am on my journey to be an expat in Greece and have done some researching in the last month. My goal is to get Greek citizenship by investment https://tranio.com/greece/passport/ The information online is basically the same in every website or forum, something like I stated here. I would love to hear some insight from people with experience!

Property investment is most likely one of the safest ways. The matter is budget, rather than the time. It makes a good turn on the long run if you get to analyze and make a good decision with the help of professionals.
These questions remind me of myself when I was hesitant to buy houses when I had the money. I decided to wait thinking I can buy a better house with this money and the only thing happened was the prices kept going higher and I just kept watching. These properties in Greece made about 10% rise in only the last year… So as above message says, the answer to when to invest is: NOW.
My personal opinion is that there will always be conflict about these topics. Some people act like they know how the market will act for sure, others just like to talk. None of us have predicted Covid, or the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the list goes on. If the area is high demand, it is very likely that prices will keep going up. And I never heard anyone being upset with their property investment, in the long run you always win.
