Hi,
Well done on your savings. I don’t think I will give any advice about what to do with the whole sum. I have a question though. Where in Eastern Europe have you been thinking about.
.
I saw a show on the TV last night about Germany after the reunification. It would be very interesting to have access to these sorts of markets. I wonder if anyone else has experience investing in these areas?
.Hi,
Have to agree with Derek. It is the future of the place and not the actual size that is of primary importance. Although without knowing where you are talking about 10,000 seems like a good sized place. Would you be in a positions to do some upgrading after the purchase to try and maintain a low vacancy rate?
Hi,
What an interesting thread. I suppose you can’t go past some reference to the natural resources in the area, “Hot beds” was a really good one I thought. How about, “Hot Rock Backpackers”. Who knows might appeal to the younger crowd.

The conversion process is very interesting. Have you got anyone to manage the conversion yet or are you doing it yourself.

Hi Nads,
Great thread. Some very good advice from some very experienced investors. Some of this is old ground I know but I hope you dont mind me sharing. The biggest thing I have found to help with confidence is the experience of doing. Try putting together a few deals with the help of others. As time goes on you can do more and more of the process yourself. Once you have a few under your belt there will be no stopping you. You have had the confidence to put yourself out there on the forum which shows strength. Good luck with your investing experience and enjoy the ride.
