    We have spoken to the bank an r able to borrow up to 300k.
    And yes r comfortable in seeking other areas if it means better CG.
    I am also not comfortable in borrowing whole amount.

    i think the balance is around the 280k mark. My strategy was to look 4 a property and hope for decent CG but also try and have decent income from rent to cover cost eg interest only, rates and strata fees if applicable. Is this possible or can u give me advice. i believe  a house is going to give me better CG but  with my strategy can i do it.

    equity is calculated from our current property which is valued at 645000k.

    that is why i am asking how do i find out the current stats for that area and what is the best options to take with having that much equity.
