Tassie is a great place, but as for Queenstown:- sell, sell, sell!!!!!!!!!!!
I can confirm that you can transfer from Westpac Aus internet to NZ. Done it myself.
Does anyone know if you can do vice versa?(I believe that later this year there will be no +CF deals left in NZ)
This would have to be one of the naive statements I have seen in a while!!!
API magazine will now come out monthly, instead of bi monthly.
Definately not comparing Steve to HK, just the definition and terminology of making someone a millionaire, by controlling 1 million in property. Which is totally incorrect.
This could be Today Tonights fault.People ridiculed Henry Kaye for advertising he would make people millionaires, by controlling a million worth of property.
This is no different.I too, like Yack, was confused with the millionaire tag.
Has any of the MAP’s got a million in equity?Caveat Emptor
I personally inspected many of these 40k houses in New Zealand recently (South island) and yes the yield are very high. 15-20%
Most of these properties have serious problems and queit frankly you wouldnt want your dog living in them. Im talking about 20-25k worth of repairs to fix. Minimum. Absolute trash tenants they attract. It aint worth it.
Who would want to be a landlord of hovels!
But the joke is stupid investors from Australia are buying them sight unseen. Multiple bids as soon it is listed.
Maybe you could play the greater fool theory by buying them. Maybe, maybe not.
Dont be seduced by high yields. 9 times out of 10 their is a catch.I agree, 1 million in equity is the minimum requirement.
Is this the aim of the MAPS students, or 1 million of property value in the first year? Can you clarify the millionaire bit?
Is that owning 1 million in property or is that having 1 million in equity, which is a true millionaire?I agree with you 100% Dags. I find it laughable in the extreme, when people do all the work, make an effort to visit a location and then discuss it on this forum for all the spoon feeders to see!!!
The place has little going for it. No population growth, no jobs and ageing population. Maybe 1 -2 years ago as a + cashflow investmen. But whats the point now when wooducks from interstate, who buy sight unseen, have pushed the prices so that yields are now very poor.
You are better of getting on a plane and visit Argentina. I am told property prices have plummetted 70% and the place is in depression. (Some would say it has now more to offer than tassie). The guy is the number one wrapper in OZ by a country mile and his wrap seminars will blow you away.
Forum or no forum. If you are a serious investor who finds a good + cashflow area and then come on this site and tell people the location in my opinion, you are nothing but a 100% fool! And I am being polite with the word fool!!!
