I can confirm that you can transfer from Westpac Aus internet to NZ. Done it myself.

I personally inspected many of these 40k houses in New Zealand recently (South island) and yes the yield are very high. 15-20%
Most of these properties have serious problems and queit frankly you wouldnt want your dog living in them. Im talking about 20-25k worth of repairs to fix. Minimum. The place has little going for it. No population growth, no jobs and ageing population. Maybe 1 -2 years ago as a + cashflow investmen. But whats the point now when wooducks from interstate, who buy sight unseen, have pushed the prices so that yields are now very poor.

Forum or no forum. If you are a serious investor who finds a good + cashflow area and then come on this site and tell people the location in my opinion, you are nothing but a 100% fool! And I am being polite with the word fool!!!
