Actually, I do remember one midwife, she had a lovely Irish accent, she was very take charge but at the same time very reassuring. She didn’t try to pacify me, she told me how it was..what I needed at the time.

Auctions aren’t all bad.
We bought our house (PPoR) at auction this year,
the quoted price was 350+ (In vic that means +20%, so about $420K)
The owner had moved interstate, had many properties and his wife had left him, so he apparently he was eager to sell.On the day, the bidding went slow. We put in our first bid at 340K, the RE spoke to the owner on the mobile, house on market.. no further bids…house sold!….$340K…couldn’t beleive it myself.
And don’t think that the price quoted was inflated either, it was an area well known to us.Maybe we just got lucky…

Arty and Pinky are in Melbourne, it’s been a big weekend down here.

My kids also have accounts with the CBA, I don’t have any.
When we moved recently, I sent an email to the CBA through their website asking if I could change their addresses. All I had to do was send their account numbers and the last known transaction date and they’d change it for me. It’s been done now.

I’ve learned…not to carry too many shopping bags up a spiral staircase..you lose your balance…you have no hands to grab with..and you don’t even fall straight..you kinda bang and bounce around..its even worse when one of the bags contains tins of dog food….me, today, not pretty… I survived though[

I can’t believe no-one’s mentioned the Sopranos, it’s my fave.
Old favourites were Cheers and Family Ties. Oh and I used like MASH too.
