I think both are good to living in. But (2) can be a better investment item after a few years.

I think all these are just mind games. Property price will go up when people are not panic any more.

I have heard that the government plans to cut 20000 positions. Looks like a rumor but it also makes sense as the government is running out of surplus. It is really a good news to me. As I am a first home buyer and I pulled out last week from a deal after found it had serious termite attacked before. I did lost 1600 for the whole process.
