I reckon babyoomers will move out of cities in their retirement say to a rural property or propertynear a beach . I reckon there is still scope for rural properties or beachside properties to go up in value whilst waitng for the next boom

This is my opinion only so check it out for yourself .

[Absolutely love the qoute below. I’ll be “mulling “this one over for a while.

I am only learning but I am discovering that stretching resources too much is no good either.

I bought block of land at Forrest Beach Coral C Estate about a year ago. I am glad I did. Real Estate agent expects prices to “explode” in about 18 months time so they tell me. They also said that it was yet “undiscovered” although it is growing steadily.

Lots of rain in the wet season but Forrest Beach itself is flood free.

I havent made up my mind whether to sell and take profit or a nice retirement in Forrest Beach sounds nice as well.

I am from Far Nort Queensland.

In a recent conversation Chincilla was mentioned to me as well.

I own a block of land at Forrest Beach and reckon it will be discovered soon. Prices are still very cheap.

This is what the go is

The full story is that I own a block of vacant land in the same town. Put a contract on it in last January and settled early July. Purchase price $67000. I reckon I could reasonably sell it now for $75000. So after expenses I probably made $2000 profit in 4 months. Not bad 4 a beginner. However I am at the moment really straining the budget and just making ends meet. I have decided to keep the vacant block cause I believe values will continue to rise. Too much hassle to sell the block and to buy the house for $140000 although owning a house someone else would be making a large contribution towards paying ot off.

I like all previous feedbacks so I can get idea of opinions.

Can someone please enlighten me on what “flipping” means?
Also is there any more blocks of land left?

Have you considered Forrest Beach. It is 1 hours drive north of Townsville. Turn to the coast at Ingham. I bought a block of land there in January and if I sold now I would be showing a profit of $13000 on $67000. I am no expert but this looks like a good profit to me.

At the moment I am going thru all the Question and Answer Material. There is tons information which I find very helpfull. I find it a very informative website.

I just bought a block of land but as I am repaying loan I find there is no income from it at the moment. Need to decide wether to develop or sell with small profit. Will probably buy ebook as well so I can’t tell you about that bit just yet.
