our cat tiger, when he sleeps on my pillow, he snores…..
we have an old puppet monkey, both cats love me to stick my hand in the puppet and have playfights with them, they even go for its throat! funny to watch their eyes light up when “monkey” pops his head over the back of the sofa. sometimes they even ask me if they can play…..too cute
human response times from sensation to impulse to action is between 1.0 and 1.5 sec (was on CSI last week). given that there are only 30 seconds, the most anyone could (truthfully) do is 30. I got 26 but then my mouse is a bit hard to work. I could have improved if I changed my screen resolution also…
I had a dog back when milk was in bottles delivered by the milkman, the dog would pierce the foil with front teeth then tilt the bottle and drink the milk. it was always the neighbours milk lol.
our new cat tiger is funny, he likes to sleep on our bed, and always has his head on my pillow. on cold mornings he wakes me up and asks me to pull the dooner over him……awwwww
another dog I had would go to the beach and drag home a 30kg tree branch, he was a samoid cross, guess they like to drag things….
Its hard to get a job though. But if you work from home or live off investments, WOOHOO.
Sydney is the pits. get up, fight traffic, work like a dog, fight the traffic, go to sleep. wot a great life. oh and going out costs a fortune, as does everything down there. people are hurried, rude and snobby, and you need a million bucks just to have a roof over your head.
My course is titled “positive gearing for shares” and some clown reads my website then emails me to ask:
“do you think Its a good idea to borrow money to invest in shares?”
ROFL! wot u reckon?
Oh here is another pearler of a question:
“why would I want to pay $295 for something I know nothing about?”
LOL…..words escape me. I must have it all wrong. I thought people were paying me $295 because they wanted to learn something (which they know nothing about).
And as for “Not even a course or seminar outline. Sounds Suss to me!”
smh charge like wounded bulls, there was a huge charge for everything. all up $1500 for that. Only sold 2 courses from it, so Im down $900 at this stage. wayne is right in that a lot of people dont respond right away. the one I did in Brisbane Courier last week had no replies till tues, then sold 4. That ad was the same size but costed only $630.
I also did a mimimum size ad in the courier mail months ago, costed $245 and got 45 responses, goes to show ad size means little. looks like I will do small ad in the age next and see how it goes.
3rd job – apprentice electrician. Spent 2 years working at a sewerage plant. Yummo. Got used to the smell quick, and the loadings were unreal. Most of the time we were on ‘go-slow’ and I often slept in a dark place during work hours. All the shots were a bit of a pain. On the plus side, whenever there is a drug bust, you know where the good stuff ends up. We had a free supply of weed for life, cos man it grows quick with all that fertiliser.
Once I finished the apprenticeship I battled new disgusting places in peoples homes, like under floors and in ceilings. Its no fun I tell ya. The mess I could handle, but the arrogance and patronism of the snobby North Sydneysiders wore me down. I got ripped off by many a millionaire solicitor, and turned up to hundreds of jobs where the customer had called someone else after booking me in. Then theres all the people who think they can just not pay cos they dont feel like it. Ive pulled my share of main fuses I tell ya. On the plus side, I was the highest paid electrician in Australia, earning $250 an hour. Its just that the customer never did the maths. I charged $60 a pop to put in a light which took 10 mins and cost me $20. Do 25 of em in 4 hours and you got $1000 profit. Whammo, $250 an hour and one very happy customer. Well they could afford it. Plus it added $10k to the value of their home.
I wonder if they would be less patronising if they knew I was on a higher hourly rate than them? LOL
Well do you really mean share TRADING or do you mean investing? If trading, I suggest the Guppy series. Anything by Chris Tate is also easy to follow. I found Chris Temby to be a shocker, same with Louise Bedford. Read at least 20 or 30 books before placing your first trade.
Best read is “trading for a living” by Elder.
