I would stay right away from that sort of arangement, apart from the short term equity help for you where’s the win/win.

The Brisbane side of Ipswich still seems to be having some gains, but it’s hard to find cashflow +ve there now.

I’ve always found the more rooms the easier to rent. Well around Brisbane anyway.

Most of the second hand homes I have looked at to date appeared to need a lot of reno work when they get relocated. If you recon it can be done for that sort of money I will look a bit closer at as an option,
Have you had experience with moving houses? I am feeling a little unsure with all the bad publicity you hear about their ethics.

Either way. My original plan was to relocate old ones, but the costs I have seen so far seem to make it uneconomical

I think any incentive is a good idea, however, I believe that if you get to know what motivates your tennants and design an incentive to suit, you will really reap the rewards.
I guess it’s easier to do when you only have a handfull, but I have gained some great insights on mine, just by chatting to them.
