Yes that was my thinking. The only concern is to have enough money after this to buy our first home.I just wanted to know if people think this is a feasible option. SureMy problem lies in that the representations were verbals from the salespeople. I dont think we have anything in writing that said when the settlement would occur.Any solictors online who can tell me if I have a leg ot stand on ?

But cant you borrow money in your name and pay it into the super fund as a deposit, effectively loaning enough money to the fund to buy the asset.

Yeh I have thought about avoiding the CGT but I think I will have a tough time convincing the tax man that I am a permanent resident of WA when I actually work full time in NSW. Sorry, I am a newbie here so maybe this is possible.
