    Terryw, am interested to know why you recommend this.  I am in a similar situation as Amit but didn't want to go interest only due to the lower value (and so slower $ growth) of a small property.

    Wow Jamie that's a great price! 

    The intention is to prep ourselves as much as humanly possible – employing just a plumber and a tiler.  Have looked around for recommended tradies here – might need to look a bit harder.  If anyone is looking for a good sparkie in the Sydney Eastern Suburbs I have a great guy who I am happy to recommend…
