    Have you & your neighbour got insurance. You may be able to claim the fence.

    I live in Geraldton & have IP here as well as Kalbarri. I could see 12 months ago that G’ton was on the move with all the infastructure being built. That is the point of investing is to make money & to look out for opportunities & act on them whereever they are.

    Have you thought of looking North. Say two rocks. It too is developing quite well but is not as far developed as Mandurah so there should be a bit more profit in there.

    I congratulate you & your Mum for the lateral thinking you have applied. Personally I would keep it as you personal Residence then there is no worries about CGT then you will be able to upgrade when the time arises with no tax to worry about. Maybe you should speak to your accountant & he/she may have point you in the right direction before you start investing further.[cap]
