Are there other property managers in town or are you stuck with only one company?
Does this mean you will now have three properties, 2 IP and one that you will live in?
Are you buying all of these properties in your own name or through a trust for asset protection?
I know, not many answers at the moment but hopefully this would trigger some other more experienced members of this forum to respond.
It seems like the percentage charged is sometimes less important than how good a job the PM does.
Make sure you get a property manager that will make some effort to keep your property occupied.
Are there any cheap improvements you could do to make it more attractive to potential tenants?
