My understanding of squatters rights is that anytime the squatter leave the property you can resume possession of the property. Only one person can claim squatters right at a time. There may be 4-5 people in the place but only one of them actually has rights. Once you can get that person out you can take back control.

Hi Clones, why sell. A current IP would already have a lease in place so the drop in rents wouldn’t matter. I really can’t see tenants wanting to break their lease and have hassles with moving for a 5-10% drop in rent.
