Currently there are some blocks selling in Throsby (Canberra’s Gungahlin region) that are 250 sqm. I have also had customers put a 4 bedroom home on a 315 sqm block. But then again they are paying around $1000 per sqm just for the land.

Hi, hopefully you managed to secure a home by now. Auctions are a mental game and you have to be prepared to walk away at your cut off point. I would advise going to a few before hand as an observer just to get used to the process, the pace and the tactics utilised by both the auctioneers and the bidders.

I can’t comment on other businesses but please be aware that there are different kinds of buyers agents. Kind of similar to financial advisors. The key question is who is paying them?
