Nope, not joking. As a Senior House Officer in the public system I get paid the princely sum of $50,000. Sure, it gets bumped up a bit with overtime, but there’s plenty more lucrative jobs out there.

I saw my first “genuine” BOX on a recent road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide. I must say I thought they were pretty cool. But $100,000 !!!!

That’s a hell of a lot of beach towels and umbrellas…….

Could even buy a fairly large Triton shed to put all your gear into….

Must admit that I’m also finding it difficult to find properties which even come CLOSE to meeting the 11 second rule. Admittedly I’ve only been looking in the general Brisbane area for about a month….

Still working in the Public system. Only been registered for 3 years, but I do want to specialise eventually. Unfortunately it’s getting harder and harder to specialise, and GP remuneration (after expenses!) is a joke.
