    Kiyosaki says to start talking about investing to as many people as possible. Since reading the book I have tried this a few times. People that I have just met, friends, family and they all shut up shop.
    I think that people think you are trying to big note yourself or put them down or think that you’re getting into Amway. They just don’t want to know.
    I feel sorry for them because they are just going to sit back, work hard and watch me get richer.

    Yeah, i’d be more bothered if I were the Landlord. It sounds like they are not as thorough as I would like them to be.

    Yeah, I’m serious, I need a name, but I want a reference from someboby who is happy with their FA. I don’t know enough to counsel myself yet with confidence and I fully intend on asking for options and then making a decision. Thanks to those who have contributed.

    I’m in the Manly area, but i’m willing to travel.
    I’ve posted some info and received some excellent advise, but now it’s time to sit down and work out where to go next.

    I pay $500 a year for LL Insurance. Worth every cent to a beginner. rent insurance and contents.

    I am a newbie and after reading this forum topic I quickly took my post off incase it was stupid. I hope Kiyosali doesn’t join, because under the newby rules he would be there for at least 50 posts. Don’t need his input. Sometimes even the newest newbie has a new and innovative take on an old and boring view or topic.

    Thanks for the advise. The PT claims to guaranttee 9% return on $100k which would go straight onto our loan along with the rental income of our investment and our reg payments. We would have a line of credit that pays our investment loan. We would claim this interest as it is for investment purposes.
    Does this sound clever, risky but worth it or just dumb.

    There’s way too much trust here. You want to trust the Real estate agent and the vendor, the two people who don’t have your interests at heart. Only trust yourself. Put in your own offer, it may be below the other offer and may be accepted.

    I am 35 and just starting. I’ve just joined recently and am very greatful to those who are willing to answer my silly questions. Oh, great resi, won’t you give some of your time to the meagre. We all started where you did and hope to end where you hope to.
