    BC,

I had thought about that. So you mean I would rent off her and still be able to claim assistance. Could be a loophole there.

    We are in QLD

    O.K, last question….I hope.

If the banks don’t mind what you pay (unless it’s to high), and the real estate agent your buying it from definately doesn’t mind, who would be the best person to inspect it?

Thanks aussierouge, but don’t the banks value the property before you buy?? You’ll have to excuse my ignorance but I’m new to this.

Actually spider, you have just reminded me that if I do purchase property here, my employer subsidises the cost such as stamp duty etc.like yourself. Will have to look into it.

I have to disagree with Nick. I have just returned from Tassie and thought Burnie, although not spectacular, was a great little seaside town. On catching the news there they were talking about going ahead with some kind of large development once they can decide on how to protect the penguins.

    Hi Mel,

I’m not to keen to give up the assistance myself, but I thought I would see what the opinion of others would be, and if there were any unique ideas.

    Thanks,

    Ian

That’s all I needed to know.
