I have given up on the CBA and now also ANZ (as soon as they placed a cap on the number of points you could earn). I now have a card with Westpac and regularly cash in my points for Coles Myer vouchers. The odd voucher here or there keeps me happy. When you say that the builder pays it, what if it is already an established property? I gather the builder only comes into the equation if you are purchasing a new property?

Excuse my ignorance Derek but why would an ‘investment’ credit card impact on your borrowing power? Isn’t this in some ways akin to having a redraw facility? Hmm, maybe not – with a redraw facility you are redrawing your own money I guess…? Or do the banks see it as a credit card with a huge limit?

redwing, if you got the Spybot that I know of it tends to be quite out of date. You get very infrequent updates with this. Try downloading Ad-aware instead. It seems to be more up to date. The link has already been posted in this topic.
