I’ve asked Conan by email for more info, and he’s told me nothing except they like quick returns.
I’m waiting for more info & a clarification from him as I have a number of deals on the go right now (mostly not property though).
Here’s bits of our conversation:
Hi Craig,
Thanks for your response, but at the moment were looking for deals that…[Read more]Aceyducey replied to the topic Making an offer and conditions in contract in the forum Help Needed! 20 years, 3 months ago
Celivia,
In business, having too many orders to fulfil on current levels of staffing or production is a GOOD problem to have. It means you can prove you have the orders, can borrow the money to expand & grow the business.
Equally I see having too many offers accepted being a GOOD problem to have in property investing.
There are many ways to…[Read more]

Steve,
In what name are you buying the property?
Your name, your & your bride-to-be, a company, a partnership, a trust?

Too bad Pepper, it happens.

Good luck with the next one!

kimtruong81,
Why not have her vendor finance it to you.
You could organise the payments to be under her pension threshold so she gets her full pension.

I’m glad there’s such a vigorous debate.
Property & shares can both deliver excellent returns….
Which is better – depends on your goals.
At the end of the day it really does depend on your level of knowledge.
Yack – think about your own attitudes. You are down on shares, but don’t understand them……there’s a fundamental issue there!

Johno2,
There are a couple of active ones.
They advertise upcoming events in the Meetings forum in Somersoft…I haven’t seen them advertise in PI however.

I find the Somersoft & PI somewhat complimentary.
PI attracts more new people via Steve’s books & promos & the serious investors graduate to Somersoft (yeah I know some posters here will disagree – just pushing [biggrin] )

So long as you take into account plumbing, sewage, electricity & phone (I assume that gas would be too difficult to guarantee) it could work quite well.
Take a look at Buckminster Fuller’s inflatable Geodesic dome houses.
