Hence a lot of my money is going into the areas that are rising…resources, oil, etc

I didn’t know lemmings were allowed to buy property in this country…
Frankly I reckon that if now is the first opportunity you have to buy property it’s not the worst time to start.
People have different goals & ambitions & if someone wants to learn about property investing there’s no better way than to actually buy a property.
If you don’t…[Read more]

Having visited/lived in a fair few countries I reckon that Australia does very well comparatively on the racism issue.
At the end of the day can you remove racism – I don’t know – ‘stranger danger’ is built into our genes, hence our desire to identify with specific groups of people or a flag.
Personally I’d like to see racism end…[Read more]

Why not list the property with an out-of-town agent in Sydney or Melbourne where people are willing to fork out for off-the-plan.
If the numbers work I’m sure you’ll find interest.

Servant Heart,
You took the leap into the unknown to do the Business Broker thing. Investing is the next leap.
Try to put yourself into the mindset you were in when you decided to leave your safe corporate job to be a business broker. Think about WHY you made that decision & WHY you want now to invest.
Remember also that by becoming a Business…[Read more]

Hmm – that’s one of the reasons I have big problems with people who want to be ‘birddogs’….

For most employment doesn’t matter – just your avowed income level (sometimes testified to by your accountant).
Particularly useful for contractors & those people who have recently changed jobs.

How to make money:
1) Identify a need
2) Fulfil itIt’s that simple.
Many people have problems with the first bit though.
You don’t need goals to make money, you need goals to know how to maximise your money making abilities & to decide what to do with the money once you have it.
