    Hi.

I’m first home buyer and in Big Delimma over Unit Vs House.

In my budget, Im able to secure a 3 Bed Unit in Good Suburb(Hornsby Sydney) including Good Schools and Close to Shops, Public Tranport and Office. In the Same Budget I’m able to secure 3 Bed House in far Subrub(Quakers Hill Sydney) which has Avg Schools, bit far from Public Transport, Shops etc.

While its a life style decision, however which option is more like to grow in terms of Equity. Whats the best way to determine the same. Reason is that I’m looking for buy another property as Investment one down the line in a year or so.

    Regards
    Ankur

Its just a question of which will grow faster?

You will need to make some educated guesses.
Can you add value to the house that you can’t to the unit – granny flat potential, extension, converting room into bedroom etc.
