Designer / Builder Recommendations for Melbourne Reno (PPOR)

Just wondering if anyone has had a great experience with a renovation / extension project in Melbourne (specifically I’m in City of Yarra) and could recommend their contractor details?

I’m considering a property requiring a second floor extension, and would like to ascertain the feasibility of the extension and a ballpark cost.

My experience in other states is that a builder with an in-house designer produces great outcomes, as opposed to working separately with an architect and then going to a builder… I’ve found the architect applies their ‘flair’ and has little consideration for efficient building methods.

Would love others thoughts / experiences / recommendations.
