All Topics / Help Needed! / Midland or Bayswater
Hi everyone,
I’ve been looking at character properties from Midland to Bayswater, and have found a renovated property on 460 square meters in Bassendean that I’m interested in. I’ll need to sell my villa in Mount Lawley to help finance this. However, this purchase has me concerned that I’m not making my money work for me enough. .
Would I be better off buying a 680 square meter block in Bayswater that is closer to the city with a character brick house to renovate over the next few years? Is there still capital gains to be made in Midland with a house that I can’t ‘value add’ to as it’s been renovated, but is in a great location? The prices of both properties are the same.
