CARPET CLEANING - STEAM OR DRY CLEANING?

Good day,

Could people suggest what is the best carpet cleaning method for a heavily stained bedroom carpet floor? Steam or dry cleaning or? Does steam cleaning leave the carpet and floor underneath the carpet too wet?

Steam Cleaning is best…Dry cleaning waste of money..

Agreed, steam cleaning is better than dry cleaning. Just need to leave windows open or fans on to ensure the carpets dry quicker.

Don't know about "encapsulation" – sounds like a bit of an impressive buzz word, but steam cleaning is always the best for me. Just make sure the house has a good air flow to dry the carpets out. Or hire a carpet blower (dryer) to ensure it dries out perfectly.

I have Wool Carpet installed in my home living room and the bedroom.. I use to vacuum it daily and sometimes, within 3-4 months, I call the professional carpet cleaners to clean it properly..
