Hi All,
Just a question when it comes to insurances with rental property.
I only have 2 small rental properties in my portfolio and I'm reviewing my insurances for both.
Currently for both I have just landlord insurance as well as the cover provided by body corporate (a basic 4 exterior wall cover).
I rent both of them out unfurnished and don't have any personal contents inside besides a stove and dryer in each.
Is there any other insurance I should consider in the state of Queensland?
Cheers,

Contents insurance can be handy. I had to make a claim recently on an IP where the tenant didn't hook up the washing machine correctly and caused a fair bit of damage to some carpet. The insurance company paid out – the tenant reimbursed for the excess.
Cheers

Blinds, Curtains, window treatments, light fittings, carpets. All these covered by contents insurance. Helpful to have at least $5,000.
imagine you get a Tennant that trashes your house. Those things will be damaged. for a extra $50-100 per year. Worth the money i say in case something happens.
