    Hey guys,

    Quick question:

Found a good house, good price, good location, solid return. Everything stacks up-

However looks like there are three sheds, 2 small and one large that have not had council approval as spoke with them the other day.

I can push it with the seller to `get the appovals etc all ticked off before going under contract but was wondering is there really the need to?

We buy and hold for long term and tenants wanna stay, all sheds have been up for long time and havent had any complaints so chances are there wont be.

My question is do these un-approved structures void any insurance claims down the track if it is burnt down or damaged and am I able to still insure the house knowing that the sheds have not been approved?

    All thoughts appreciated in advance!

    Hi Connolly

Best to give your insurance company a buzz to find out.

Some unapproved structures are very common though.

    Cheers
