Hi everyone was wondering if anyone had anything to do with Sean Summerville. He calls himself the property king, specialising in no money down deals, any opinions or experiences would be great to hear.
From your question I'm guessing you have some interest in learning more about Vendor Finance. I don't have any first hand experience of Sean's courses but the Vendor Finance Association is a great place to meet vendor financiers. Dates and details of meetings are available at: http://vendorfinance.asn.au/meetings-and-memberships/
there are numerous educators to choose from. Some that spring to mind are:
Hi Paul, I am interested in joining the vendor finance association. I am in North Queensland so would be unable to make any of the meetings that you seem to have. What other benefits are there for me apart from going to the meetings?
Not too much You do get to use the Associations logo on your promotional material and the Association does have a professional code of conduct but the meetings are the 'cream'. The Association doesn't put out a vendor finance newsletter so we filled that space with our newsletter, the VFI News, that's been going for a couple of years now. You can subscribe to the VFI News by entering your email address at: http://vendorfinanceinstitute.com.au/home/
Great to see the lines of communication open. I hope I can answer some of your questions. First of all lets start with the most important question asked by Steve which is about buying property no money down. There are many great posts on this but themost important component of buying a house with little or no moneyhas nothing to do with property?? Confused…Thats right it has absolutely nothing to do with property.
It is all to do with your belief system.
If you think you can, then you can and if you think you cant, then you cant. Both are correct. My mentor was a guy who did probably the biggest no money down deal in the history of the world. He took over a Billion Dollar company with no money. I spent about one month at his Ranch in the USA before he passed away. We did not talk property once.
It was all about your communication and your ability to work with others
As far as The Property King. It was one of those nicknames that I was given to me years ago. I was running late for a meeting with some investors. There was a barrister, real estate agent, broker and 4 other property investors. When I rushed into the room late one of them said, 'here he is the no cash down property king of Australia'..we all laughed but that was about 10 years ago. I guess the nickname stuck. It could have been worse, they could have said here is the guy with the smell socks…lol.

The Vendor Finance Association is introducing a few new initiatives this year to help members who cannot rech the meetings. The VFA now has a quarterly Newsletter ( first edition will come out March/April 2014. There is also a closed Facebook Page so members can ask questions and get input from all over. As well as these there are also the meetings.
Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had anything to do with Sean Summerville recently. He calls himself the The Property King (http://www.thepropertyking.com.au/, http://www.fortunesinforeclosures.com.au/). I joined his property program early in 2018, and as from July 2018 he seems to have disappeared. I was wondering if anyone has had the same experience.
Sean Summerville has ripped off people with his last retirement plan scam, buying properties in country towns like broken hill making promises he didn’t keep to anyone who invested with him. It also looks like he has got his wife to do a 309A to cover assets that he has at risk. The guy is a complete con artist. If he owes you money let me know as I am in the process to track him down and sue. His old numbers and emails are disconnected. Dville designs and tpk101 and tpk999 all companies he was connected to. Dville designs are still registered and trying to dodge creditors using I suspect his wife.
I sat silent for years… in 2010 I sold my Highcrest CCT house to Sean and his wife (2 kids) he’s now sold it, in poor health (karma) and I’m out of pocket, like so many. The promise was a 3 year, interest free loan – and I handover of my divorce settlement money – that he had me believe Centrelink would take from me, or not pay me any support because I had that money. He also said the ‘boyfriend’ I had would steal the money from me.
While I know I won’t see any of my $165k, I’m still attempting to restart my life now this money has gone, the emotional pain from it great, it is my intent to ensure his name is plastered all over the internet so he can either talk to me direct, resolve this issue, or at least… anyone smart enough thinking of doing business with him will look him up and not do business with him.
How did he buy his properties – by using the money of those who trusted him. Sean Summerville is a con man, feel free to reach out directly… I entered a distressed property situation, involved domestic violence and I was in a bad way. Sean promised to take care of everything and I trusted his word and did a handshake deal, a promise that he would return my $165k. Instead I was left with 3 children and pennyless… he sure used his master NLP tactics on me. Do not do business with this man.
It’s not 2021 and he’s walked away from this, broken promises, crushed souls… I’m not the only one to be conned by him. He’s a professional and will tell you this is a load of BS, I believed him when he told me that, he’s very clever, able to manipulate you into believing him… don’t be conned!
Yipe the guy is a complete con man. I must have done his course 13-14 years ago.
Met a lot of good people who were conned on his course as well. I’m pretty sure Knowledge Source cut ties with him. A group of us really should have taken legal action.
Be interesting to know where he is now. He should have gone to jail, but I don’t think enough people got together to take any action.
We started to chase this piece of garbage and he bankrupted himself . He sold the same houses to 5 or 6 different people for way more than their value in country towns not telling one buyer about the other and just did a runner in the end with a pile of broken promises and deliberately coming across like hes going to help the ultimate virtue signaling con artist. When it started to get hot bankrupts himself . There is a Private investigator that has a big file on him who specializes in skip tracing finding pond scum like Sean Summerville . So besides going bankrupt nothing else happened as far as I am aware and after 6 years and or going bankrupt you can’t chase them anyway. People like this don’t deserve to keep breathing.
Wow interesting to know, if that PI ever needs another plaintiff (is that the right word?) let me know. Sommerville actually approached me personally when I was living in Melbourne and told me if I marketed his course down there he would run a workshop, and he’d pay me a commission per attendee. Nothing about helping us make money in property, all about those course fees.
I’ve probably done about 5-6 different courses, and felt I’ve learnt some good stuff along the way with all of them. I didn’t lose alot of money on this fraud, and it’s all a long time ago now. But gees would be nice to hear one day he did do jail time, and have his dirty name out there in the media.
All the best.

His final retirement plan was 2019. I heard he was ill but who knows maybe just another con . Maybe it’s a life insurance scam this time. Too many people had his home address which he stole money from unsuspecting marks to buy . When we were applying legal pressure he goes bankrupt Assets owned by the wife etc etc . Anyway the end of this bottom feeders legacy.
