I used Property Secrets to buy, renovate and build a granny flat on my behalf and I will never use there services again.
I went on a property tour of western Sydney and there staff showed me some before and after renovations. The finishes were very poor in my opinion and though well its only an investment property.
They arranged my finance and said I would have no problems so I purchased a property with a 10 day cooling we needed 16 days in total because they could not arrange my finance and kept promising me they would have it by COB.
After we settled they organised a renovation that I though was very high nearly $40,000 but the director Paul said it needed to be done. I had to pay a managing fee $6,000 for them to look after my renovation. It took way too long and did not look like a $40K.
The agent rented the property no problems. We built a 40sqm two bedroom granny flat that Property Secrets organised the flat cost me $80K + another fee for Property Secrets of $8K. After the granny flat was built I was told by many people I paid too much for the quality of the granny flat. Then we needed extra fencing, extra water tanks then landscaping I worked out nearly $95K was spent. The agent has phoned me more then 8 times with repairs from gas leaks, timber floors lifting up, leaking taps and the granny flat is under 1 year old. Also I would not recommend Ian Cubbits Classic Home Improvements.
After this experience I would never use Property Secrets and have found many other companies that can help me achieve my investment goals.
I would believe the post by investforlife because the fees and what I got back did not add up and everything was recommended by Paul the director of Property Secrets.
