    Hi,

We're a couple who has just bought an apartment end of last year. We own a commercial unit in another country too. Can anyone recommend a good and experience tax accountant, especially in property investment and financial planning etc in Perth? We are very new in investment properties and hoping to purchase a unit in Melbourne this year to lease out. Need some advice on how to get about it as well as reducing our tax at the same time – currently in the 40% tax bracket which is a heck a lot of money! Heard about Chan and Naylor but there are good and bad reviews about them. What do you guys think? We don't mind spending $400 if they are very good. Thanks in advance!

    Hi LT,

I use Shreeve and Carslake in Herdsman Business Park. They suit my needs and do have a tax planning & financial planing component to their business.

$400 might be a bit light on depending upon the ins and outs of your situation.

As an aside not sure about Melbourne as your next investment location. Stuff I read suggest the unit market in Melb is somewhat wallowing at the moment.
